What are the tattoo laws in Nevada? Can you be under 18 because I see lots of high-school people (I don’t think they are 18)with tattoos… Any help?? It is for a project im doing..

Well, I guess they are breaking the law, since the state of Kansas does not allow anyone under the age of eighteen to give a tattoo to anyone, regardless of their age or parental consent. Does this answer the question?

Julia- You are right, I see lots of kids in high school with tats, but they might have also gotten their parents consent. Some parents are seeing it as a rite of passage, especially if they have them themselves already. Any parents here on the site who want to weigh in (nicely, mind you) on this subject? It is not a simple one, but I think it is important. What about kids still at home?

I’m pretty sure you don’t have to be 21 in Illinois… I know tons of kids who have tattoos who are seniors in high school…
